High-level talks will take place.

The agenda includes further developing a strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Italy and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas.

Particular attention will be paid to the practical implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Italy in June this year.

Views will be exchanged on current issues of international politics and regional interaction.

Several intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents are expected to be signed following the summit.

President Sergio Mattarella will also travel to the cities of Samarkand and Khiva, where he will get acquainted with Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage.
