According to Japanese media, the reactor was initially scheduled to restart in January. However, technical issues delayed the process, and it only reached startup on February 9. While test-mode electricity generation was expected to begin on February 15, one of the neutron control devices failed. As a result, the full startup of the NPP has been delayed by at least half a day.

The reactor is scheduled for industrial-scale operation on March 18. Currently, there has been no official comment on whether this deadline will change. For reference, the "Kashiwazaki-Kariwa" NPP ceased operations following the Fukushima-1 accident in 2011.
