Kyrgyzstan will switch to 12-year schooling

    Kyrgyzstan is switching to a 12-year school education model. The reforms in the field of education were approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

    The transition will be gradual. The age of graduates will not change, as the first ones will be "zero", that is, preparatory classes, MIR 24 reports.

    High school students, in addition to general training, will begin to be taught professions.

    The teaching methodology and curricula will also change. They will be developed on the basis of education systems in advanced countries.
