The quota for Hajj for Uzbeks this year will be 15,000 places

    This year, the total quota for Hajj for Uzbek citizens is 15,000 people. This was announced at a briefing at the Information and Mass Communications Agency by the head of the information service of the Committee on Religious Affairs, Ilkhom Marupov.

    Pilgrims will be sent to Medina from May 23 to June 7 this year at the international airports of Tashkent, Namangan, Ferghana, Karshi, Termez, Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoi, Urgench and Nukus, and their delivery from Jeddah to Uzbekistan will be from June 22 to July 12.

    Pilgrims are accommodated at the five-star Zam-zam Pullman Hotel, located 100 meters from the Nabawi Mosque in Medina. In Mecca, they stay at the hotels Abraj al-Dana, Al-Ayam Elite, Dali Hotel, Najma Al-Saad, Open Hotel, Shueae Nozha Hotel and Ayed Al-Saha. A special team of doctors, cooks and group leaders is recruited to provide services to pilgrims and safely perform their prayers during the Hajj season.

    The first working group within the framework of the Hajj 2024 season has already arrived in Saudi Arabia, specialists are working in hotels in Mecca and Medina, as well as in the Mina and Muzdalifa valleys near Mount Arafat to prepare conditions for the reception of our compatriots.

    The representative of the Committee on Religious Affairs also recalled that in order to perform Hajj according to the rules established by Saudi Arabia, a pilgrim must have a Hajj-2024 visa, pilgrimage on other visas is not allowed.
