The conference, which began with the reading of the Koran, was opened with an introductory speech by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al-Rabia, who congratulated the dignitaries on their visits to the Holy Mecca and participation in the prestigious event, and also spoke about new projects being implemented to hold the Hajj season at a high level.
The international conference was dedicated to the cultural and civilizational role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing services to pilgrims. The most important project and large-scale changes in two holy mosques were presented to serve Muslims. It was also stressed that when performing Hajj, it is necessary to comply with legal permits and applicable rules.

According to the press service of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, this symposium has been held annually since 1970. This year, more than 500 scientists and ulema from more than 50 countries discussed important issues on this topic.
