More than 3.7 thousand people live here. The mahalla has been landscaped, and trees have been planted as part of the “Yashil Makon” (Green Space) project.
The mahalla specializes in agriculture and livestock breeding. Each of the 668 households has a plot of land. In addition, residents are allocated 126 hectares of land for cultivation.
According to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 5 this year, measures are being taken to utilize new reserves and produce in-demand products on household plots and dehkan farms.
The Head of state inspected this work.
Thus, a training ground for growing berries has been created in the mahalla. Here, seedlings of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries are prepared and planted in garden plots. After harvesting, the products are purchased by exporters.
The President noted the importance of training home garden owners in quality berry growing. Views were exchanged on expanding the project and the effective interaction between owners of personal plots and banks in increasing the population’s purchasing power.
