MIFT Minister discussed prospects for the development of interbank cooperation with the leadership of the Development Bank of Belarus

In Minsk, on the sidelines of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodzhayev held talks with the leadership of the Development Bank of Belarus and the insurance agencies "Beleximgarant" and "Promagroleasing", during which issues of participation of Belarusian financial institutions in the implementation of joint projects in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering were discussed., pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

The management of the Development Bank of Belarus expressed interest in participating in financing transactions with Uzbekistan based on the existing experience of working with Uzbek banks and resources for financing both trade and investment projects.

The issue of organizing a visit of the management of the Development Bank, the agencies "Beleximgarant" and "Promagroleasing" to Tashkent in September to study promising projects and conduct negotiations in a number of relevant ministries and departments of Uzbekistan has been agreed.

They also discussed issues of further interbank interaction in conditions of relative stability and projected stability of mutual settlements.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation within the framework of existing agreements and discuss issues of closer cooperation during the planned visit of the leadership of the Development Bank of Belarus to Uzbekistan, the press service of the MIFT of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
