According to the Ministry of Defense, during the bilateral talks, Defense Minister Lieutenant General Bahodir Kurbanov stressed that the development of bilateral relations based on equality, mutual trust and respect has reached a new level in recent years.

Also during the meeting, the parties discussed achievements in the military sphere and the possibility of continuing cooperation on issues that are planned to be implemented in the future.

Recall that Michael Kurilla visited Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022, shortly after his appointment to his post. In addition to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, he then met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
