The Ministers of Transport of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed the use of new routes across the Caspian Sea

    On November 19, Transport Week 2024 began its work in Moscow. Within the framework of the event, held by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for the 17th time, the forum and exhibition "Transport-2024" are also being held.

    Within its framework, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov and the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Roman Starovoit.

    The parties discussed the implementation of joint railway infrastructure projects, as well as the use of new routes across the Caspian Sea.

    Following the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding between the ministries on the organization of cooperation on the construction of railway infrastructure.
