The Museum of Cinema of Uzbekistan turns 50 years’ old

This year the Museum of Cinema of Uzbekistan celebrates its 50th anniversary. The museum's archive is rich and diverse with unique photo frames, personal documents, as well as a lot of material related to the activities of the founders and figures of Uzbek cinema.

Today, the museum has more than 30 thousand of the most valuable photonegatives of the past years. Of particular value in the museum are the exclusive version of the cameras in the period from 1920 to 1980 and the screenplays of legendary films in the original.

Also in the Museum of Cinema Art of Uzbekistan you can see the golden Nickname - the award of the Academy of Cinema of Russia. It was awarded in 1991 in the nomination "Honor and Dignity" by the outstanding documentary filmmaker Malik Kayumov.
