The project
is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Vladimir Makovsky and will be open to
visitors until September 13, 2026.
The
exhibition brings together about 170 works from more than 25 museum
collections, including collections of leading museums in Russia. The exhibition
features work by Vladimir and Konstantin Makovsky from the largest museum
collections in the country.
Uzbekistan
is represented by nine works from the collection of the State Museum of Art of
Uzbekistan.
The
participation of Uzbek museum exhibits in the project contributes to the
development of international museum cooperation and the expansion of the
presentation of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage at major international
exhibitions.
