The national dish characteristic of the village of Sukok in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, Sukok samsa, is registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a geographical indication.

The uniqueness of this product lies in the use of specific natural ingredients, in particular, a plant called "mador" (a local type of spinach), which grows exclusively in the Sukok mountains, as well as in its unique taste and special technology of dough preparation.

Registration as a geographical indication confirms that Sukok Samsa belongs to this particular region, providing legal protection for its quality, historical roots and cultural value.

The registration process was carried out with the assistance of the Main Department of Justice of the Tashkent region.

Reminder: A geographical indication is an intellectual property object that indicates that a product has special qualities, popularity, or other characteristics due to natural, human, or historical factors in a particular area.
