The event happened near Tamdybulok between the 167th and 168th kilometers of the road. A 39-year-old driver, Sh. Kh., who has 17 years of experience, lost control of his "Zhong Tong" bus while driving from Zarafshan to Navoi. As a result, the bus went off the right side of the road and flipped over.
According to early reports, there were 47 passengers inside the bus. Sadly, two citizens died at the time due to their injuries. Nine other people with various injuries were taken to hospitals.
Currently, the Navoi Regional Internal Affairs Bureau is conducting a pre-investigation. Authorities are working to find all the details of the accident, provide necessary help to the victims and their families, and give a legal evaluation of the tragic results.
