    Last night, on October 6, at 01:29 Tashkent time, an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred at a depth of 10 km in the Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

    According to the Republican Center for Seismic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the strength of the tremors in the epicenter was 7 points.

    On the territory of Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt as follows:

    Namangan region - 3-4 points (at a distance of 106 km from the epicenter),

    Andijan region - 3 points (144 km),

    Ferghana region - 2-3 points (176 km),

    Tashkent - 2-3 points (199 km),

    Syrdarya region - 2 points (275 km).

    The epicenter was located 199 km northeast of Tashkent.
