As part of the tasks set by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Abu Dhabi summit this year, major projects in the field of green energy are being implemented jointly with a number of UAE companies. To date, the volume of electricity produced by solar and wind power plants has exceeded 8 billion kWh.

Relevant agreements have been signed with GSU to increase the share of small-scale renewable energy, accelerate work in this area and introduce new approaches. GSU is investing $27 million in Green Energy LLC.

The Green Energy company will be engaged in the installation and operation of small renewable energy at social facilities, government agencies and other organizations. Within the framework of cooperation with GSU, work is accelerating on the construction of small solar and hydroelectric power plants, as well as fast charging stations for electric vehicles. In addition, modern maintenance of these "green" energy sources will be provided.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate work on the development of "green" energy in Uzbekistan.
