DSTU is the largest supporting university in the South of Russia, established in 1930 on the basis of a new plant of agricultural machinery "Rostselmash". Currently, he is training personnel for ROSATOM, Rostvertol, Rostselmash and other industrial enterprises.

During the conversation, the leadership of the university was informed about the reform policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his main initiatives for the development of socio-economic, social and legal life of people in Uzbekistan, amendments to the Constitution of the country initiated by the head of state, and the peaceful settlement of the situation in Karakalpakstan.

In turn, the Russian side presented a presentation about the university, which also reflected the information of academic cooperation of DSTU with Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Tashkent University of Innovative Technologies named after Al-Khorezmiy, International University of Tourism "Silk Road".

The parties also discussed the implementation of the agreements reached on the opening of DSTU representative offices in Uzbekistan on the basis of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Bukhara State University.
