During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, professional development of Uzbek specialists in South Korea, as well as the organization of mentoring programs in cooperation with KOICA. Special attention was paid to the establishment of academic cooperation between the International Tourism Academy of Samarkand and Korean universities.
The parties agreed to implement joint projects to expand tourist exchange between the two countries, create comfortable conditions for Korean tourists coming to Uzbekistan, and promote the country's cultural heritage sites.
Following the meeting, Kim Dae-hyun highly appreciated the rich cultural traditions and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector.
