Minister K. Sharipov, in turn, congratulated Manfred Huterer on his new position and noted the priority issues of cooperation.
"Germany has always been an important partner for us," the minister said. - Today, one of the important directions is the expansion of mutual exchange programs for students, professors and teachers, the organization of scientific internships for young scientists in Germany. I also want to note the willingness to continue negotiations with the German side on the establishment of the first German university in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of mutual education programs for the training of engineering and technical specialists, the invitation of experienced scientists from the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan, the implementation of mutual research activities aimed at solving urgent global problems.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further development of cooperation.
