The parties discussed expanding cooperation within the framework of the Organization, taking into account the growing role and active participation of the Council of Elders in coordinating and promoting multilateral initiatives.
Special attention was given to the practical implementation of the strategic proposals put forward by Uzbekistan at this year’s Organization of Turkic States summits in Budapest and Gabala.
The President of Uzbekistan proposed developing a roadmap to strengthen the Council of Elders’ institutional capacity and to promote joint projects aimed at preserving national traditions, spiritual heritage, and the cultural unity of the Turkic peoples.
