    The President of Uzbekistan attends an official reception hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan

    Concluding the first day of his visit to Tokyo, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended an official reception hosted by Japan’s Prime Minister at Akasaka Palace, in honor of leaders of Central Asian states.

    The Prime Minister of Japan, Sanae Takaichi, welcomed the President of Uzbekistan.

    The event was also attended by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

    Negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Japan, as well as the main events of the first summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue, will take place tomorrow, December 20.
