The ceremony was attended by the head of the Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Odil Abdurakhmanov, the leadership of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the general sports community.
At the event, Odil Kalandarovich congratulated the Paralympians who successfully performed at the main continental starts of the fourth anniversary and emphasized that these results are a clear example of the enormous attention and care paid by the President to the development of the Paralympic movement of our country.
In turn, the athletes and coaches who spoke thanked for the favorable conditions created by the state, noted that they would continue to adequately represent Uzbekistan on the world stage.
During the ceremony, the representatives of the Writers' Union - poets respected by the people also congratulated the Paralympians. After that, the delegation on dedicated special buses toured the sights of the capital and headed to the National Paralympic Committee.
Recall that the delegation of Uzbekistan updated the best result in its history in terms of the number of medals at the Asian Para Games, winning a total of 79 medals (25 gold, 24 silver and 30 bronze).
