On the thirteenth day of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, eight athletes will defend the honor of Uzbekistan in such sports as rhythmic gymnastics, kayaking and canoeing, taekwondo WT, freestyle wrestling, modern pentathlon and boxing.
They will compete for medals in Paris today:

· 13:35. Taekwondo WT - Ulugbek Rashidov
· 14:30. Freestyle wrestling - Gulomjon Abdullaev
· 14:30. Freestyle wrestling - Jabrail Shapiev
· 17:30. Modern pentathlon - Alisa Fakhrutdinova
· 00:30. Boxing - Abdumalik Khalokov
· 01:35. Boxing - Hasanboy Dusmatov
Judo athletes also began to replenish the treasury of the Uzbek delegation with important medals. Our talented para-athlete Sherzod Namazov, who competed in the -60 kg weight category (J2 category), defeated Zurab Zurabyan from Georgia in the final and won the gold award.
Ziyodakhon Isakova from Uzbekistan won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris. The athlete competed in para-taekwondo in the weight category up to 47 kg among women. In the final, she lost to Leonora Angelica Espinosa Carranza from Peru with a score of 4:10.
For the first time in the history, 65 athletes of the Uzbek delegation won 113 permits in 9 sports in these important four-year starts, which will last until September 8.
Last night, the first group of Uzbek Paralympians arrived in Paris. At Charles de Gaulle International Airport, members of the sports delegation of our country were warmly welcomed by representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Summer Paralympic Games and employees of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in France.
