The event, organized by the Public Foundation "Foundation of Turkic-speaking Journalists" in partnership with the Akimat of Almaty region, the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was attended by about 200 representatives of media and tourism from foreign countries such as Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Moldova, Turkey, Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan.
During the event, the Ministry of Ecology, represented by the Adviser to the Minister for Information Policy - Press Secretary Lola Rakhmanbayeva, presented a presentation on the topic "Prospects for ecotourism in Central Asia", in which the advantages, disadvantages and recommendations for the development of ecotourism in the region were noted.
Also within the framework of the forum, the participants of the event visited tourist attractions and natural sites of Kazakhstan, such as the Charyn Canyon and Lake Kolsai.
For reference: The purpose of the forum is to exchange experience taking into account new processes in the field of media and tourism, expand the information space, implement mutually beneficial joint projects, popularize historical and cultural places of Kazakhstan in foreign and domestic media, strengthen cooperation and partnership between media representatives.
