The main purpose of this memorandum is to ensure parliamentary control processes based on modern scientific and methodological approaches, improve the quality of lawmaking, as well as in-depth criminological research of crime factors in the regions, scientific forecasting of crime dynamics and further strengthening work in the field of public safety.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in scientific analysis of the causes and conditions of crime, assessment of the criminogenic situation and improvement of the effectiveness of crime prevention.
It also provides for an expert analysis of the reforms implemented within the framework of state programs, including the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030", and systematic monitoring of their implementation.
This memorandum will contribute to the scientific support of the parliament's activities, the deepening of law enforcement reforms and the formation of effective mechanisms to ensure public safety in the country.
