The group left Kuwait and arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. To ensure the unhindered movement of citizens, the embassy sent relevant notes to the authorized bodies of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, the Dunyo news agency reports.

During the nearly 12-hour trip, the citizens were accompanied by two diplomats who assisted with border procedures and at the Riyadh airport. They also provided consular, legal and organizational assistance during check-in for flights to Jeddah.

Further, tickets from Jeddah to Uzbekistan were issued for all 42 citizens. It is noted that due to the unstable situation in the region, the heads of families decided to send their family members, mostly women and children, to their homeland.

In addition, on March 9, a citizen of Uzbekistan, D.Y., who was in Iraq, contacted the embassy with a request to assist in returning to her homeland. It has been established that she is legally married to an Iraqi citizen working in the medical field and decided to return to Uzbekistan due to the situation in the region and her father's illness.

Later, she was assisted in leaving Iraq by an international bus flight through Turkey. Next, she plans to fly from Istanbul to the city of Urgench.
