A Laboratory of Soil Science is being created at the International Innovation Center

    In order to create a soil science laboratory at the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an agreement on creative cooperation was signed between the Regional Department of Innovative Development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region and the Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany.

    According to the document, it is planned to create a laboratory of soil science at the ICP. The subject of the agreement is the joint use of scientific and financial opportunities for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of training students and specialists, improving their qualifications and scientific training, launching and implementing joint projects in the field of biological and environmental sciences. According to this agreement, the parties will jointly implement:

    Development of the structure of joint research and methodology of higher education in the field of biological sciences, as well as conducting joint scientific research.

    Preparation of joint research projects and search for donors to finance projects.

    Development and implementation of exchange programs for students, undergraduates, postgraduates, professors, teachers and researchers working in joint works/projects in the field of biology, soil science and ecology.

    The Institute of Soil Science will assist the ICP in building scientific potential (training in innovative methods of laboratory and field research, lectures and seminars by leading scientists, advanced training), while the Management and ICP will take an active part in their research conducted by the IPU.

    The center will create a laboratory of soil science, which will conduct: agrochemical analysis, full (detailed) agrochemical analysis, determination of the quality of drinking water, determination of the quality of natural water (irrigation water), analysis of mineral and organic fertilizers, the press service of the Ministry of Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
