During the plenary session and the sessions, issues aimed at deepening cooperation between parliaments on issues of human dignity, social justice and environmental protection were discussed in detail.
Along with this, opinions were expressed on areas of economic cooperation and digital transformation, proposals were developed aimed at developing the digital economy, introducing innovative solutions, and supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
In the field of ecology and green policy, proposals were considered to mitigate the effects of climate change, rational use of natural resources, improve environmental legislation and strengthen parliamentary control in this area.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of ensuring human rights and gender equality. The participants made a proposal to continue cooperation in the field of gender equality, youth policy, and the development of educational and cultural exchanges.
A joint declaration of the third meeting of the heads of Parliaments of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea was also adopted.
An agreement was reached to continue further cooperation to strengthen parliamentary diplomacy, exchange best legislative practices and expand dialogue platforms.
The next IV meeting of the heads of parliaments of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea is scheduled to be held in 2026 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
