This event is a single platform for the meeting of industrial companies and business delegations of Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Korea, USA, Great Britain, Germany, Canada.

On the first day of the event, a meeting was held with the participation of the management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and a delegation headed by the president of the Azerbaijani company SOCAR, Rovshan Najaf.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Uzbek side thanked the president of SOCAR for his interest in strengthening cooperation between the two companies.

During the meeting, the importance of strengthening and developing relationships in the Upstream and Downstream directions was emphasized.

Particular interest was shown in participating in the project "Modernization of the Bukhara Refinery", as well as joint development at fields both on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, SOCAR's management is ready to take part in service contracts, as well as an operator on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The issue of creating a joint venture "SOCAR Trading" between JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" and "SOCAR" was also considered on the agenda of the meeting.

In turn, the Uzbek side thanked the representatives of SOCAR for their interest in developing potential cooperation between the companies, and also stressed the importance of developing areas for renewable energy in compliance with environmental standards. In this regard, close cooperation on the development of this direction is proposed.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on further exploring the prospects for cooperation in all areas and to continue working on all joint projects at the working level.

We remind you that the exhibition will continue its work on May 19 and 20 of this year, during which it is also planned to hold negotiations and meetings with both long-term partners of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as well as with potential investors and suppliers of services and equipment.
