On the eve of the celebration of the holy Ramadan Hayit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a Decree “On pardoning a group of people serving a sentence in the form of deprivation of liberty, who sincerely repented of their actions and firmly embarked on the path of correction”.
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a working visit to the city of Almaty on March 29 to participate in an informal high-level meeting.
On March 27, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a European Union delegation led by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas. The meeting focused on enhancing practical cooperation and preparations for upcoming joint events.
