It is noted that some time ago, at a meeting in the Ministry of Health, a special working group was created to reduce the number of useless papers for practice.

"There are too many responsibilities assigned to primary health care workers. Their main working time is spent on redundant processes related to filling out various documentation. As a result, long queues form in the doctor's office, which limits the ability of patients to receive high-quality medical care," the report says.

The working group of the Ministry of Health studied the situation in detail and came to the conclusion that some of the 26 types of journals and 33 types of reporting forms are practically unnecessary.

For example, during periods of high population congestion, filling out the "Polyclinic Visitor Registration Log" by the reception nurse was a waste of time, which caused justified dissatisfaction. After the patients were registered at the emergency department, they had to re-register to get into the doctor's office.

A medical journal may not be needed for several months or even years, if there are no good reasons for that. However, the nurses were responsible for daily accounting in this type of document, noting that "there were no accidents today."

"When a nurse in a family polyclinic gave injections to patients, she had to write it down on several forms, even in a special journal, with the information "so many syringes, so many grams of alcohol", "so many grams of cotton wool were used." This made other patients wait longer," the agency cites as an example.

Thus, since February 1 of this year, filling in 26 types of medical records has been canceled. It is necessary to fill in 14 types, of which 10 have been simplified. Along with this, 33 different types of medical cards and forms were reduced to 14, Uzreport reports.

It is also strictly prohibited to use forms of medical documentation that are not approved by regulatory acts.
