Russian producer Maxim Fadeev announced that he is preparing the launch of the international festival-competition "Euroasia". According to the producer, the event will be an analogue of Eurovision, and the host countries of the contest will be Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

"I have an agreement on the creation and holding of the international festival-contest "Eurasia" in Uzbekistan, which will be hosted by three countries - Russia, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Russia will be represented by your humble servant, Uzbekistan by Yulduz Usmanova, and Turkey is probably the most popular representative of the creative profession there today. I am sure his name will be a shock to everyone," Fadeev said.

The producer clarified that he had thought out the concept of the contest at the beginning of 2023. The slogan of the festival will be Join us! ("Join us!"), Fadeev added. Also, he continued, visually "Euroasia" will be similar to the international Music Olympiad, reports News.ru.

"We will hold it annually in August. The headquarters in the three countries have already begun to work on organizing the reception of applications from participating countries. And there are already a lot of them!", - said the producer.

The composer's message was timed to coincide with the statement of the Ministry of Culture of Russia on the creation of the music contest "Intervision", which should replace "Eurovision". Mikhail Shvydko, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, said that Intervision has already aroused wide interest in many countries. According to him, the contest is supported by Russia's BRICS, SCO and CIS partners.
