According to the telegram channel of the consular department of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, from September 1, 2025 to September 1, 2029, foreigners entering Russia without a visa in these regions will undergo additional registration, fingerprinting, biometric photographing and location monitoring.

This law also extends the rights of employers.

Now employers will be able to hire foreign citizens with a patent obtained in a neighboring Russian region. For example, with a patent issued in Moscow, it will be possible to work in the Moscow region.
