During the
conversation, the OSCE Chief warmly recalled his recent visit to Uzbekistan and
his meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The
readiness of the organization to support and implement Uzbekistan's initiatives
in priority areas of cooperation was also confirmed.
The parties
discussed issues of further cooperation in the fight against transnational
threats, the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence,
youth support, ensuring gender equality, as well as continuing judicial and
legal reforms.
Special
attention was paid to strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and the
OSCE in order to promote sustainable development and increase the effectiveness
of joint projects.
