The event was attended by presidents and heads of academies of sciences from 16 countries - China, Russia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Armenia, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Tajikistan and other countries. The delegation of Uzbekistan was represented by a group of scientists.

Following the meeting, member of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, foreign Investment and Tourism, President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Shavkat Ayupov was awarded the high title of academician of the International Association of Academies of Sciences and awarded the honorary medal of the organization.

During the meeting, important decisions were also taken aimed at strengthening international scientific cooperation and expanding opportunities for the exchange of experience in the field of science and innovation.
