It was noted that artificial intelligence is becoming one of the key driving forces in areas such as the economy, education, healthcare, and security. These technologies make it possible to increase the efficiency of public administration, ensure the rational use of resources, and improve the quality of services provided to the population.
In recent years, Uzbekistan has implemented systematic reforms in this direction, resulting in significant progress in the adoption of artificial intelligence. The Head of State emphasized that these achievements represent the initial steps taken in this field and that even more extensive work lies ahead.
In this regard, the President emphasized the need to actively promote initiatives aimed at the development of artificial intelligence, accelerate the implementation of advanced solutions, and prevent lagging behind global trends.
During the presentations, special attention was given to the application of AI solutions in the economic and social spheres, as well as to the dissemination of successful practices. It was emphasized that the dynamic and sustainable development of this field requires continuous analysis of both domestic and international experiences, as well as close cooperation with young specialists, international experts, and the private sector.
One of the most important factors in the development of the industry is the training of qualified specialists. To accelerate this process, several innovative educational programs are being implemented in the country.
In particular, a project for the “University – Industry – International Cooperation” cluster was presented. This initiative aims to improve AI literacy among students, enhance teachers’ qualifications, develop specialized educational materials, and train modern professionals for the industry.
An educational platform called “AI Maktab” was also introduced, aimed at teaching young people digital skills and modern professions. Through this platform, participants will be able to receive distance education in dozens of areas – from virtual assistant developer and digital marketer to AI content creator and business analyst.
The President emphasized the importance of expanding such programs and engaging the innovative potential of youth in the development of key industries.
Attention was also drawn to the expected outcomes of establishing scientific and educational laboratories in the field of artificial intelligence. Current projects implemented in this area by commercial banks were discussed, and it was underlined that in the near future, it is necessary to further expand such research and practical initiatives in the country’s higher education institutions.
The Head of State also reviewed innovative projects developed by talented young people, such as “PromptLab”, “Detecting-AI.com”, and “KotibAI”.
It was noted that such programs and applications create significant opportunities to increase labor efficiency, expand income sources, and simplify intellectual work, both for small teams and large companies. Currently, these domestic developments are being utilized in financial institutions, the construction sector, and by creative teams.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the presented initiatives and projects, giving recommendations and instructions to accelerate the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
