According to Reuters, the incident occurred in Samut Sakhon province, near Bangkok. The crane fell onto the overpass and crushed two vehicles.

Transport Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn confirmed the death of two people and noted that the situation at the scene remains dangerous. He added that people might still be trapped under the wreckage.

"We cannot say whether there will be a secondary collapse or not," the minister said, pointing to the hanging steel structures. "That is why there are no rescuers at the scene — only safety assessment teams are working there," he added.

Yesterday, 32 people were killed when a construction crane collapsed onto a passenger train in northeastern Thailand, reported by report.az.
