The Forum program includes contests, master classes, workshops from animation specialists and much more. But the most interesting project of the Forum, in our opinion, is the retrospective program of the Uzbekmultfilm studio dedicated to the Soviet period of Uzbek animation under the conditional title "Made in Uzbekistan. Yesterday."
For the first time, cartoons that were considered lost will be shown - their film copies were found in foreign film archives, restored and digitized thanks to the National Film Fund of Uzbekistan.
This was told by the director of the "National Film Fund of Uzbekistan" Eljon Abbasov at a preview organized for journalists, and during the days of the Forum, old cartoons that have received a new life will be able to be seen by everyone.
Among them are the first Uzbek cartoon "In a 6x6 square" (1965), "Chigiryok" (1979), the plot of which was written by Alexander Feinberg, "The Princess of Mice" (1983) based on the Karakalpak fairy tale and many others.
