Three new four-car rolling stock were delivered to the Tashkent Metro car park today, the Toshkent Metro State Unitary Enterprise reported.
According to the instructions, these trains will undergo technical tests within 7-10 days, after which they will be ready for passenger service.
In order to further reduce the time intervals on the lines, the new wagons will be put into operation mainly on the aboveground ring line of the Moscow metro.
In Tashkent, one of the lobbies of the Pakhtakor metro station will be temporarily closed from November 1. This is due to the replacement of the existing escalator with a new one.
In connection with the elections of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Kengashes, on Sunday, October 27, all stations of the Tashkent metro will begin their work from 5:00.
On March 26, a one-way movement (shuttle) of trains will be organized between Almazar and Yangihayet stations (4th station) on the Chilanzar line of the Tashkent metro from 23:00 to 00:00, while maintaining intermediate time intervals.
