This measure was taken in order to create additional favorable conditions for the population and to avoid traffic jams on the day of Ramadan Eid.
"All passenger transportation on the capital's public transport (buses and metro) will be carried out free of charge on April 10 from 4:00 to 10:00," the message says.
The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan asked residents and guests of the capital to use public transport services during the holidays when traveling to their destination.
