Today, on April 8, two new modern metro trains with four carriages were delivered to Tashkent.
According to the press service of SUE Toshkent Metro, in order to further reduce the intervals of movement on the lines, these trains are subjected to technical tests for 8-10 days according to the established instructions, and then released on the lines for passenger service.
It is also worth noting that three more metro trains are planned to be introduced in May 2024.
As a result of these planned works, it is planned to upgrade the subway car fleet and further reduce fixed time intervals.
In Tashkent, one of the lobbies of the Pakhtakor metro station will be temporarily closed from November 1. This is due to the replacement of the existing escalator with a new one.
In connection with the elections of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Kengashes, on Sunday, October 27, all stations of the Tashkent metro will begin their work from 5:00.
On March 26, a one-way movement (shuttle) of trains will be organized between Almazar and Yangihayet stations (4th station) on the Chilanzar line of the Tashkent metro from 23:00 to 00:00, while maintaining intermediate time intervals.
A few days ago, in order to launch the metro stations "Turon" (13th station) and "Kipchok" (14th station) from the Stroiteli quarter to the Sergeli district, information appeared on the organization of work on technical connection with other existing stations on the line at the second stage of the Elevated Ring Road line.
