Japanese scientists have found out that rhythmic music can have a beneficial effect on memory, attention and thinking.

According to the publication Neuroscience, experts from the University of Tsukuba conducted research that proved that physical training to music allows brain functions to improve. Music enhances the effect of exercise, and people who are sensitive to rhythmic melodies can improve the functioning of the prefrontal cortex without unnecessary stress.

48 volunteers were involved in the scientific experiment. They were healthy people from 18 to 26 years old. They performed three-minute aerobics exercises to rhythmic music. The subjects who got carried away with the rhythm during the exercises and experienced a strong spiritual uplift noticed an increase in brain activity. The zones of thinking, memory and attention reacted to the stimulating actions. These functions allow you to focus on tasks and successfully go to the goal.

Experts hope that their research will help to develop exercises that are not burdensome for most people to improve their cognitive abilities.
