The event was opened by the Director of the Cultural Heritage Agency Shakhriyor Nurullayev. He told the guests about the ongoing reforms in the field of cultural heritage preservation in our country, that a step has been taken to a new stage of protecting our material values.
The purpose of the organized seminar is to implement the first stage of the cooperation project of well-known Italian restoration organizations for the restoration and repair of cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan.
Within its framework, the Italian side will inspect the objects of the material cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in Samarkand and Bukhara, joint restoration and repair and restoration work will be carried out at the selected sites, UZA reports
