Uzbekistan - Bashkortostan: strategic partnership in agriculture is expanding

    Currently, the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan complex in Tashkent has become a center of industry and innovation. The fifth international industrial exhibition INNOPROM is taking place on an area of more than 18 thousand square meters. Central Asia", which is attended by over 10,000 delegates from Russia, Central Asian countries, China, India and other countries.

    Negotiations on cooperation are actively taking place within the framework of the exhibition. In particular, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, holds meetings with representatives of a number of foreign companies and organizations, discussing mutually beneficial projects.

    One of these meetings was negotiations with Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Minister of Agriculture. During the conversation, issues of further strengthening bilateral cooperation and the introduction of new projects were discussed.

    In particular, Bashkortostan plans to increase supplies to Uzbekistan of products such as sugar, wheat and wheat flour, barley, molasses, and milk whey. The possibilities of Uzbek farmers growing grain, legumes and potatoes in Bashkortostan were also considered.

    At the meeting, proposals for the supply of canned products to Uzbekistan from Pishcheprom JSC and the supply of chemical plant protection products and complex mineral fertilizers from BashInkom were announced.

    It is noted that the exhibition being held in Tashkent opens up new horizons for regional cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture and trade. This is an important step towards mutual development and prosperity for Uzbekistan and all countries in the region.
