The parties discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation in the field of higher education and science between the two countries.
In particular, an exchange of views took place on supporting the activities of the newly established branch of the Mukhtar Avezov South Kazakhstan University in Chirchik, Tashkent region, and the branch of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers", established on the basis of the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty.
The issue of organizing joint contests of scientific projects between the two countries in areas of mutual interest was also comprehensively discussed during the meeting.
