It should be noted that marketing plays an important role in finding partners, expanding the geography of exports, and actively attracting investment in the leather and footwear industry, as in all other industries, today.
The experience of Bangladesh shows that thanks to effective marketing, today the volume of exports of leather and footwear products produced in this country exceeds $ 1 billion. The production facilities of such world-famous brands as Nike, Puma, Calvin Klein, Wrangler, H&M, Target, Zara are located in Bangladesh.
During the meeting, issues of further increasing marketing activity in the leather and footwear industry of our country, the use of marketing processes used by Bangladeshi enterprises to study and analyze foreign markets, and the development of buyer programs were discussed. In this regard, close cooperation with the company "Best Sourcung" is planned.
It should be noted that currently in Bangladesh there is a shortage of semi-finished products and ready-made leather raw materials for the production of shoes and leather goods. The meeting also discussed the issue of exporting the "Wet-blue", "Crust", "Finish" leather produced by our local enterprises to this country.
In order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation, initiatives were also put forward to organize business tours for the delegations of entrepreneurs of the two countries. As a result, Uzbek enterprises will get acquainted with the production and marketing opportunities in Bangladesh, and investors and buyers from Bangladesh will consider the possibility of purchasing finished leather and footwear products from Uzbekistan.
Practical proposals were also developed to expand the production of components and chemicals needed for production in Uzbekistan itself.
