The document provides for the development of partnerships in such areas as registration of medicines, exchange of experience and best practices, harmonization of approaches to industry regulation, as well as improving the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products.
Latvia is a member of the European Union, and its pharmaceutical sector regulatory system fully complies with high EU standards.
In this regard, cooperation with the Latvian side will be an important step in the integration of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical system into international standards and in the further development of the national pharmaceutical industry.
