The parties discussed prospects for further development of Uzbek-Latvian cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, exchanged views on key areas and outlined concrete steps to expand practical cooperation.
Air transport: development of passenger and cargo transportation, expansion of the e-commerce segment, cooperation with the RIX Academy to train aviation specialists.
Railway transport: increase in freight traffic, improvement of logistics routes, modernization of rolling stock, development of maintenance.
Road transport: the formation of a long-term partnership, the growth of mutual cargo traffic, cooperation with Latvian ports, increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek transport operators in the European market.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening and strengthening cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
