During the talks, the sides discussed issues of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of digitalization, the development of digital infrastructure and ecosystems, as well as expanding regional cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

Special attention was paid to the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, the development of modern computing infrastructure, the creation and operation of data centers, as well as the exchange of experience in these areas.

The parties also discussed the development of e-government systems, improving the quality of digital services, training qualified IT personnel and strengthening human capital in the digital sphere.

In addition, prospects for cooperation in the field of cross-border data exchange, the use of electronic digital signatures and the development of interstate electronic document management were discussed. It was noted that the expansion of cooperation in these areas will contribute to deepening digital integration between the countries, as well as creating more convenient conditions for citizens and businesses.

The meeting also discussed issues of supporting candidates nominated by Uzbekistan to the Council of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), as well as to the ITU Radio Regulatory Committee.

The parties noted the high potential for cooperation in the fields of digital economy, telecommunications, artificial intelligence and e-government, confirming their interest in expanding practical cooperation and implementing joint projects.

This meeting was a logical continuation of the consistently developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the fields of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the preparation and signing of a bilateral roadmap that will allow for the systematic implementation of the agreements reached and identify further areas of cooperation.
