During the meeting, the directions of further development of cooperation in the IT sphere were discussed, such as ensuring paperless trade, the development of e-government, the introduction of advanced solutions for the banking sector and information security, the press service of the trade Mission of the Russian Federation reports.
Special attention was paid to the participation of Russian companies in the specialized exhibition ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2023, as well as the organization of visits of Russian business missions.
It is worth noting that this industry is one of the most dynamically developing in Uzbekistan.
In January 2022, the implementation of the "New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022-2026" was launched, which involves the digitalization of public services and the activities of law enforcement agencies, healthcare organizations, the banking sector and agriculture.
Russian IT companies are showing great interest in Uzbekistan. In early August, the trade mission of the Russian Federation reported that in the first half of 2023 it received more than 20 requests from domestic software developers with a request to help them enter the Uzbek market.
