At the meeting, a high assessment was given to the large-scale reforms carried out in the field of education in Uzbekistan in recent years, the conditions created for obtaining high-quality education and effective creative activity of young people, as well as systematic measures implemented in our country to develop the economy, the Dunyo news agency reports.
It was noted that official London is interested in further expanding and strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of preschool, secondary and higher education and the creative economy.
"Britain is ready to expand English language teaching programs and deepen inter-university ties with Uzbekistan," said Rupert Daniels.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Business and Trade of the United Kingdom to Uzbekistan in October.
